I use a blue grass, fescue and rye grass blend that the seed companies suggest seeding at abut 5-6 pounds per 1000 but I typically use 8+ pounds per 1000. Tackifier usually also has a recommended coverage. Most PAM tackifiers are applied at 3 pounds to the acre.
