WebAug 8, 2008 · While riding bike, exhaust backfires/pops when letting off of the throttle in any gear, very annoying not just to me but to other riders. Idle is ok, at about 900-1000. If this doesn't stop the pop then richen up your mixture screw a little, if you can't tune it out with the mixture screw then may have to go up a jet size. +1.
