WebApr 7, 2008 · It was a bit crowded at hte sandbar so we snorkeled first. We spent about 45 min at the barrier reef . The water and fish were beautiful. Then back to the sandbar and another 45 min. with the rays. The time with the rays was great and we had 3 guides in the water with us. This is a must for anyone going to Grand Cayman. No facilities so take some food and drinks with you. Belize, we've done snorkelling privately with Fab Tours and had a great time, maybe $50 each to snorkel the reef and swim at a nearby island.

This trip made up for it! The ride to the snorkel sight was awesome with a very professional crew. With the Reef n Rays, you still go to Gibbs Cay to interact with the rays, but then you sail out to a reef to snorkel for 1 hour rather than 30 minutes off the beach.
